About This Course
The Aerial Boom Lift Truck training program at CN Forklift Training Centre is an OHSA-compliant course designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to operate aerial platforms safely. The curriculum covers various types of aerial lifts, their components, and the essential pre-operation inspections. Additionally, it emphasizes safe operational practices, including setup, movement, and hazard avoidance. This training is available at our facility in Mississauga and can also be conducted on-site including Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton.
Certification Parameters
The CSA Standard CSA-B354.2-01 (R2013) “Safety Standard for Self-Propelled Elevating Work Platforms” outlines the essential knowledge and practical skills required for aerial lift operators. It mandates that operators demonstrate competency through a practical evaluation, ensuring their skills meet or exceed industry-accepted benchmarks.
Occupational Health and Safety Act, REGULATION 851. INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS as it governs the aerial lift safety training.
